Question RM650x fan doesn't spin up

Hi all, i have a Corsair RM650x PSU and the fan doesn't spin up. I know it depends on how much load is on it or how hot it is. I have an i5-660 cpu ,1050Ti video card and an SSD. do you think this is enough load for the PSU to have the fan spin? and is it supposed to spin when you first turn on the PC?

At idle, it shouldn't spin. Under load it probably will. It is normal to spin when the PC is first turned on, then it will stop when it POSTs.

With those components I wouldn't be at all concerned about the fans not spinning up, even under load. They'd probably only draw ~200W max at full load, so less than a third of PSU's rated capacity.

I'm not sure about whether it's supposed to spin up at boot, but I kinda doubt it.

It is normal to spin when the PC is first turned on, then it will stop when it POSTs.

The PSU would have no knowledge of the PC POSTing.
