[SOLVED] RM850 and RTX 3080

I've been having issues with my EVGA 750w GA that shuts down randomly with a 3080FE, it seems lot of people are having issues with this specific model, I'm wondering if anyone who has a RM850 can confirm it works without problems? Well I can vouch for Corsair's quality in general, not that specific unit. I have an RM650 and a 2070S, works very well

3080 cards have had some issues. Look to the 3080 vendor for solutions.
I really doubt that the psu is your problem.

I like the stock fe cooler.
Can you report on temperatures and the effectiveness of the cooling solution?

I’m currently running a 3080 with 3700x on a Seasonic Prime Ultra Platinum 650w with no issues. During gaming it takes less than 450w from the wall and under stress test peaked at 546w.

Yes. The EVGA GA series has been known to have issues with the 30xx cards.

Yes. The RM850 works perfectly fine with the 3080 FE.

You'll need an oscilloscope to capture the actual power draw. And you'll need to do it on the DC side.
