hi all
I need to RMA my dfi ultra-D as I cant get it to work with my ram. and it keeps doing strange things.
Iv got a new board now.
what I want to know is will I be able to RMA it if its got a beta bios.

Do you really thinks the problem is the MB, it might be the RAM, have you tried another memory brand to make sure it's not the RAM.

For the BIOS, if you got a BETA from DFI to try fixed your problem, it's not an issue. If you got an unofficial BIOS from nowhere, you only need to reflash your MB with the latest DFI official bios before sending it to RMA.

I got an email from crucial and pdp systems saying that they have RAM that will work w/ that mobo. Crucial recommends their Ballistix pc 3200 model# <A HREF="http://www.crucial.com/ballistix/store/PartSpecs.asp?imodule=BL6464Z402&cat=" target="_new"> BL6464Z402 </A> or any of their Ballistix modules, and pdp recommends their <A HREF="http://www.monarchcomputer.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=M&Product_Code=140601&Category_Code=DDR-PDP" target="_new"> PDC1G3200+XBLK </A> patriot line for a matched set. If that's too pricy, they said their other solutions would work, such as the LLK instead of the xblk. Hope this helps, as I am planning on getting that same board. GL :smile:
