[SOLVED] RMA GPU Replacement - Replace older series with newer series

My EVGA 1080 Ti SC2 is giving me some trouble with crashes. I purchased the 10 year warranty when I bought it a year and a half ago.

I know it's common for EVGA and others to replace older GPUs with newer ones if and when they don't have anymore available.

When do you think EVGA will start replacing GTX 1080 Ti with a new RTX 20 series? Would it be replaced with the 2080?

It would be bitter sweet because I would gain ray tracing but lose some vram.

Not sure if I should try to get another 1080 Ti or wait for an RTX replacement.

Most of the Major Retailers don't have anymore , they are all from secondary sellers at crazy prices. Shouldn't be long before newer cards are the RMA replacement.

I just checked their EVGA B-Stock and they have no 1080 Ti's. Looks like you are right.

Do you think I would get a 2080 or possibly a 2080 Ti?

*Edit: I think I will ask their support team so maybe I can know what I'm getting before I do it.
