RMA (NEWEGG) forgot to add rma# on the side of the box what will happen?

I recently returned my fury x once it had a defective displayport and i got everything together and shipped it off but forgot to write my rma# on the side of my box, im plannning to call up newegg tomorrow(7/23/16) and see if i can get it sorted out what will happen, my first rma ive done and didnt know that i had to write the rma# on my box, couldnt they look at the adress and link it back to me or something or would they not go out of their way for that kind of stuff just wondering im kinda freaking out because i dont want to have to wait longer for me to get it and ship it back...smh

Unless you sent back missing parts or box... and as long as you have the printout inside you shouldn't run into any problems. I'm sure they've run into this problem lots of times. so the worst that will happen is a like a day or two delay before inspecting your return.

We can answer that for you. If you sent it under a tracking number we issued to you we should be able to identify it immediately. If it was postage you paid for we should still be able to identify it but just to be certain, email us your RMA# and return tracking number to wecare@newegg.com. Thank you.

Thanks for all the help guys and I've contacted Newegg and theyve confirmed to me it's fine, and I will be reviving my new card wensday since my product was defective and I get the replacement thanks all!!!!
