RMA SSD replaced with refurb

Samsung replaced one of my 850 Pro 512 GB SSD with a refurb. I have never owned a refurb anything. Should i be concerned with receiving this refurbed drive or am I good?

It could be your drive they refurbished. If your SSD died and you sent it in for warranty RMA then you have nothing to lose. When something is refurbished its repaired and/or tested for quality. You can run a check on it and see how many hours/writes its had.

What is a good program to test the drives for that information?

I think samsung has one called samsung magician or you could try crystaldisk.

it has 1009 power on hours and writes from host is 1085463956. Is this a refurb drive that I should be concerned about?
