RoadRunner/Router Problems

I'm trying to hook up a D Link 150 601 router to my time warner w/road runner computer but it won;t on DHCP I'm lost as what to do.

Are you trying to connect by wireless or by wire ? What exactly is a time warner w/road runner computer? Are you trying to set up a home network with a time warner modem and the D-Link router with your computer ?
