My bigger problem is that the LED light basically constantly blinks on and off when the mouse is just sitting there. It's very annoying. The mouse performs well for me (though I'm not a gamer - I replaced my garbage logitech wireless mouse since logitech can't figure out how to get the power settings on it to work where it doesn't auto-double click non-stop).

The mouse response rate is very good. I suggest that wait for a while till the price goes down. Before buying do remember to check your grip if it fits or not. Based on my gaming experience every person has different preference.
