ROCCAT Kova [+] Un-Responsive

Hey guys I recently purchased a roccat kova + and it looks really nice unfortunately I plugged it in and it does not respond correctly I thought it might be the drivers so I went to roccats website and downloaded latest drivers but it still does not respond correctly I've tried using different usb port and even tried restarting yet it still does not work im looking at the laser and its not lit up or anything and I don't know if it is meant to light up im not using a mouse mat but I highly doubt a gaming mouse like this would decide to take affect on that my previous gaming mouse was a e-3lue cobra and that worked fine but the kova + just does not seem to respond correctly almost like its lagging?

Contact the Roccat guys ? or get new 1 from the stor eyou bought .. tell & show them whats the problem..
