RocketRaid 2720 SGL not showing in post or windows

Hello. Ive been using this site to troubleshoot problems left right and center, but this time i cant find my solution so i figure ill ask.

I purchased a RocketRaid 2720SGL a few weeks back and only just got arround to installing it into my pc. I have it in a x16 slot and its a x8 card. Im using an Asus Maximus IV Extreme motherboard with a GTX 580 in slot 1 and a GTX 580 in slot 3. My Raid Card is in slot 2 (because i cant access slot 4 due to the size of the gtx's). I booted after the installation and no bios section for the card came up, nor did an "Add new hardware" bubble. Its like its not there. So im wondering if theres something i have to do to enable that lane or something. All 4 dipswitches on the motherboard are set to on (For providing power to set pci-e lanes). Anyone have any ideas? Im running windows 7 and the 4 HDD's i had attatched WERE in a raid 5 before hand without a problem.

Slot 2 is x1.

Try connecting it to slot 5, which is x16, or slot 6, which is x4.

Sorry i should have been more specific. The 2nd x16 slot, is where the card resides.

So if your looking at the picture of Slot layout i have

Slot 1 - (Red x16 slot) --- GTX 580 (3 din in size)
Slot 2 - (Black x1 Slot) --- Covered by 580
Slot 3 - (Red x 16 slot) --- Highpoint 2720SGL
Slot 4 - (Red x 16 slot) --- Gtx 580 (3 din in size)
Slot 5 - (Red x 16 slot) --- Covered by 580
Slot 6 - (Black x 4 slot) --- Covered by 580

Sorry, only other thing I can think of (which you probably tried) is to remove the card, re-insert it, and make sure it's firmly seated all the way in the slot.

Looking at the manual, it looks like with video cards in slot 1 and 4, slot 3 and 5 are disabled. I pulled the 2nd vid card out, and the 2720SGL started working
