Question Rockstar Launcher won't connect

I've been battling this program for 2 days now trying to get the Rockstar Launcher to open. I've reinstalled it like 15 times to no avail.

I contacted their tech support and after working with them for 7 hours they had me create a new user profile on my pc and it allowed me to install and log in no problems.

When I try to install the launcher everything installs ok but as soon as the launcher tries to connect to the social club (or open initially) the launcher freezes up and won't budge.
