Question ROG B550-E Gaming won't boot from m.2?

Hi all,

I have been trying for countless hours to get my m2 to boot with no luck.
I can get it to show in the bios i can go through the USB install fine but it will not boot after the install.

My system:
ROG B550-E Gaming - Running latest BIOS
Ryzen 9 3900xt
Radeon RX 5700 XT
Corsair Vengeance 32 GB RAM
m.2 Intel 660p series. (drivers upto date)
WD 1TB HDD - i have removed this for the install etc.

Anyone have any ideas?

not a huge help, but I have the same board and I'm running on an m2 hd for my windows drive. I didn't do anything in particular and didn't change anything off of auto for the install or even currently. Have you tried changing it to the other m.2 slot? What about if you spam f8 on boot and manually select the device from the boot list?

Have tried both slots. When clicked manually creates a bios loop.

Is the SSD bad? I have the same Mobo and boot from the bottom m.2 slot without any issues.
