Rog PG278Q 3D at 1440p?

Hello guys,

i'm planning to buy Asus Rog PG278Q Monitor, This monitor is 1440p, but i wonder if it run 3D games at 1440p? or it will reduce to 1080 or 720?? cause my monitor is 1080 and only run 3D games at 720, so i wonder if the Asus will run games at highest Resoultion 1440p ?

It will work, since this monitor uses an active 3D panel that can do 120hz (60hz per eye). The drawbacks are the heavier glasses, the flashing pictures and the lowered brightness.
Only passive 3D screens halve the resolution since they cannot do 120hz, so they show both images at the same time in the picture at 60hz.

Single monitor 3d is absolutely stunning! movies and games. I have 3 of the monitors and the surround gaming is f'n sick, I love it! Unfortunately I have 3 980ti's and I cant get surround 3d to work with 3 cards. to the best of my understanding 3 cards nixes the surround 3d experience.
