[SOLVED] ROG Strix B450-F Ryzen 2700X - new build no post

I am posting this for my SO. He just built a new PC but it is not posting at all, nothing comes up on the monitor. The fans are on, the motherboard lights are on, the GPU is on, everything seems to be running.

He tried re-seating the RAM, trying to boot 1 stick at a time, the RAM is in the correct A2 B2 slots, the CPU was reseated, everything was re-plugged in, tried both the motherboard and graphics card's HDMI ports.

With the GPU in, the motherboard LED is on yellow green which is BOOT. He tried swapping the PCIe M.2 (only drive) around, turning the PC on and off with/without, but still no luck. When the GPU is out, the motherboard LED is white which is VGA.

What could be wrong? Any advice would be appreciated. Below is a link to the imgur album of the PC's interior.

Also I can't see what PSU you have, only see it is the rosewill psu, with 700W something.

I have this board and cpu as well and have had countless issues with it booting.

First, the M_2 (Your only drive) I don't think is allowed as a boot drive on this board. I recently installed a crucial 1TB saddled with a samsung Evo but figured I would just install windows on the M2 - It would work sometimes through force booting in bios, but I didn't have much luck. You might try attaching another (any other) drive just to see if it will post.
