Hey everyone i have Strix 1080 which won't POST. Everything works, fans spin, RGB turns on but no POST.
I opened it up and saw a voltage regulator had fallen off the PCB. Is that causing the problem or something else ?

Solution
says signal not detected
definitely not the same as your system not booting to the POST screen.
your system will still be POSTing and loading the OS just not outputting any data to the screen due to the graphics card being damaged.
the voltage regulator fell of from the PCB
unless you are rather adept at soldering and circuitry you may just have a damaged card that will not function now.
if you are competent in this area and confident that you can fix it then give it a shot.

otherwise maybe try contacting any local computer and/or electrical hardware repair shops around and see if they may be able to help you out.

what do you mean by "no POST"?
a malfunctioned graphics card may keep you from seeing the POST screen but will not deny the system from POSTing.
you mean you just get "no signal" message on the display when starting the system?

include your complete system specs with make & model of all components.
It says signal not detected But the Card lights up its the Rog Strix Gtx 1080 Ryzen 7 3700x 16GB Ram etc
