I'm about to buy a new Motherboard (Rog Strix Z390) and a new CPU (i7 8700k maybe i7 9700k), but I'm not sure how to proceed with my old ssd/win10.
I've searched a bit and most people recommend a clean install.
But now or when I boot with the new components?
My PC doesn't have an optical drive that's why I'll use rufus + USB.
And what about my HDD? I'll connect it back only after win10 is (fresh)installed on my SSD - that correct?
Last question: My PC arrived (last month) with pre-installed win10 (and it seems I can downgrade to Win7).
Under "Activation" it says activated through license linked with my account. Do I need a new license or will the fresh install work without a Key because of the Acc linking?
