Question Roms for RetroPie ?

I have the Rom games and the rom folders on the USB drive ready to go.
Just looking at the system and extensions here https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Supported-Systems/
When loading my roms in their folders, do u need to know the Rom file types and the extensions of what fild type each system can read https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Supported-Systems/

This is just a list of the file types that retropie supports for each system, if you have roms in a different format from those listed they won't show up and won't run.
The main thing is to see which systems don't support compressed files like zip and rar and if you have roms for that system to make sure you un-compress them first if they aren't already.
