Here are my specs

I know I’m good on ram at this point it’s overkill for the stuff I use my pc for I have HDD’s for storage I don’t want to upgrade to SSD’s as of now and I don’t want to get a m.2 drive. GPUs are still overpriced so what I’m looking for now is a new CPU and maybe a new MOBO as well as decent fans and a good cpu cooler I’m trying to get all the less expensive stuff out of the way but I don’t know a lot about parts to know what would go good with what so any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Gaming and minor video editing hardly ever and some use in photoshop
Your going to want nothing less than an RTX 3070 for gaming at that resolution (1440P) and seeing how the prices of graphics cards are at an extreme all time high atm due to the chip shortage, internet mining craze and scalpers how about 1080P. I posted a couple of nice 1080P IPS monitors on here for you to have a look at. btw that Meshify case you have in your build only comes with a single front fan which is a hose job imo for a case going for that price. This build down below is meant for gaming @ 1080P. Just add your hard drives to this build.

What will your PC be used for (gaming, video editing, programing, etc..) ?

What do you tax your system with?

With all due respect, an SSD(regardless of NVMe or SATA) is what you need in your build. You could go for a 240mm/360mm AIO from Fractal, pick up fans from Fractal as well and then call it a day with that spectrum. With regards to your processor and motherboard, what are you looking into? What sort of a budget have you allocated for your presumed upgrades? Lastly, where are you located and what is your preferred site for purchase?

You have a similar natured thread here;

GPUs are still overpriced
there are more and more graphics cards available all the time now that are no longer going for scalper prices.
just browsing Newegg.com today and there are RX 6800, RX 6800 XT, and RTX 3080 Ti available for MSRP.
i imagine even more of lower tiered cards available.

if you still think the MSRP's of $800-2000 for mid>higher end cards is "overpriced" then you will never find a good new series GPU again.

i can buy from, EBay, Newegg, bestbuy, Amazon, and any official trusted sites. I have about a $400 budget. I’m wanting to stick with Ryzen CPUs so it would have to be a MOBO that is compatible for Ryzen cpu and I just have a lot of HDDs in my build is all, about 10tb worth.

No not at all I’m talking about lower end GPUs even a RTX 2060 is going for like 800$ when it’s supposed to be lower it’s just aggravating is all

i would suggest removing these from the system and getting a nice dock or external housing for them when needed.
they take up too much space, add to cable routing mess, add excess heat, and really serve no logical purpose these days other than backup storage or media storage.
Guess I could use them as a backup cause I have a lot of data in my computer. I would need a good amount of storage if I was to switch to a SSD

like what?
a ~500GB SSD OS drive should be more than enough for an OS and many, many applications.
a 2-4TB SSD games drive should be good for 75-150+ large install games.
everything else can stay on those HDDs.
Are you saying I should put my OS on a SSD rather then leave it on one of my Hdds?

RX 6600 XT for $600-800 available right now.
quite a bit more powerful than a RTX 2060.

i have no idea what those are besides the normal names I have heard are those AMD cards or something because I have never heard of them and if you could can you link them here? Is that the normal price for them?

i have no idea what those are...
Is that the normal price for them?
RX 6000 series is the latest AMD graphics cards available.
on par with the NVIDIA RTX 3000 series.

i would only mention MSRP prices in relation to graphics cards, i would never promote scalping.
can you link them here?
on Newegg.com, Amazon, etc...

just shop for RTX 3060, RTX 3060 Ti, RTX 3070
or
RX 6600, RX 6600 XT, RX 6700 XT.

compare prices to what the actual manufacturer's list for the MSRP(Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price).

sorry, i'm not a personal shopper.

what card would you think would perform good compared to a RTX 2060 for AMD these cards don’t seem to be as expensive as these is there any real reason for that?

any of those new generation i mentioned will be more powerful than the RTX 2060.

the 2060 is the lowest tiered card from the previous generation of Nvidia GPUs.

the reason you might still see the RTX 2060 priced higher is because people are still trying to bank on the GPU scalpers market that has recently plagued us and is now beginning to recede.
you will still also see cards like the RTX 3080 going for $3000-4000 in some instances but the MSRP is only ~$900-1600 depending on the model.
