So yesterday I installed Xposed Framework on my phone to run some modules, and so far it went well but then after I downloaded a module and rebooted the phone as it asked me to do, it wouldn't boot anymore and basically gave me a BSOD.

So I went into recovery mode and factory resetted it. Thing is after that and recovering everything I had I went to check if it had affected my root and apparently it has, Root Checker says there's my device isn't properly rooted and stuff like SuperSU won't detect the root.

So, am I missing something obvious? I think I am but I don't want to brick my phone by going and tryng to fix this by myself.

What you did is Hard Reset, your SU binary might have been deleted or corrupt after the Reset. Delete the su.bin using root browser and Root your phone the proper way, flash a custom recovery(CWM/TWRP) and flash SU.zip into the firmware.
