Hi There!! I have a doubt..This might silly, but need some clarification . What are the pro's and con's of Rooting Nexus 5 . I usually update only through OTA . I have heard that OTA updates would get stopped if we root the device and lose the warranty.. Is that true?? And if there is no such update issue, then how to root the device?? I sound like bricking my device 😛 But,I will learn it soon.. Can we get OTA updates regularly or else we must flash everytime we get an update?..
Thanks in Advance
Looking Forward 😀 😀

If you unroot you are most likely to receive OTA updates but it depends on the way the manufacturer designed the mobile. There is no differences between rooting with a computer and through an app but please make sure that the app has worked for other persons first by reading comments on forums. I have also used kingroot to root my mobiles and it worked. Please note that some mobiles have an additional level of security which needs to be unlocked before rooting like HTC mobiles. Doing it wrongly will most probably brick your mobile. PLEASE be careful!!!
rooting has several pros and some cons you can find out some here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VpxEE35Dqo. yes if you root, it is very probable that you stop getting ota updates. That what happened to my tablet but do not worry once you root and install a recovery you would be able to flash a custom rom which is sometimes better Note that if you root and do it wrongly your device will brick and you will lose warranty in the rooting process but you can always unroot. Google search on how to root your device for safety. If you need your pc to root your mobile always ensure that you are battery backed up.( Use a laptop for safety). Thank you and if you have any questions please ask.

Yes! Thank You Shoaid Caseem!! One of my friend has done it through an app called KINGROOT . 😀 😀
