Question Rosewill rgb fan hub

I like everything about this product beside being unable to control fan speeds so I was coming here to get an opinion, if I were to buy a molex connecter to a 3pin fan plug and plugged it from the hub to the motherboard directly skipping the instructed power supply plug in, would I be able to get full fan control on all fans through one system plug?

If its the S1203 kit I'm afraid you're out of luck. It all gets controlled thru the remote.
