Hello everyone, I recently upgraded (almost entirely new) my PC and everything is working great, except for I can't seem to change the RGB LEDs on my case and it's fans.

Case: Rosewill PRISM S500
https://www.newegg.com/black-rosewi...-tower/p/N82E16811147283?Item=N82E16811147283

MOBO: ASUS Prime Z790 P WIFI

When I bought these, I checked to ensure that the case supported Aura Sync. It says it does on the website, but upon plugging everything in, I have no control over the lights: the button on the case does nothing and Armoury Crate program doesn't see the lights even though they are on (it also doesn't show the 3 bottom fans as doing anything either, which are also running/working). From what I can gather, the case hub seems to have a 3 prong plug instead of the 4? There's the SATA power, then there is a 3 prong "IN VDG" (which I understand to be only used for a few MOBO brands and not ASUS?) which I left unplugged and a larger 3 prong (that looks like it should have 4) that I ended up plugging into the "Addressable Gen 2" headers because the Aura RGB headers are apprently 12V instead of 5V - so I am afraid to use it and not sure I even could because those headers have 4 prongs. The case is suppose to be compatible, what gives?

Edit: This guy shows the same cables I am working with:

VDG is only found on Gigabyte boards, now everyone has switched over to 5v ARGB and 12v RGB connectors.

The headers you've shown in the first image, is the VDG and the ARGB connectors on the case. You shouldn't connect them both, only one. In your case it should be the ARGB header on the motherboard, with the arrow side of the connector connected to 5v. The 3rd picture is the SATA power for the hub, which plugs into an empty SATA power connector from your PSU.

Mind you, please don't disconnect or reconnect anything while the system is running. Always power down, shut off the wall power and then disconnect/reconnect devices to the PSU/motherboard/components.

How you describe is how I have it setup. I have the SATA power connected, I dont have the VDG connected, and I have the ARGB plug connected to the 5V ADD_GEN2 header. I previously had it in GEN2.2 so I changed it to the "first" slot ADD_GEN2.1 just to see if that would help, but nope - same issue. Lights are on, but I can't change them with the case button or Armoury Crate.

Update.. so I decided to unplug from the motherboard completely, and now the button on the case works - so something with the mobo is causing it to freeze up or something?
