Let's discuss this, will this case be the new Haf-X?
It looks more like the poor man's Haf-X.
I looked at the pictures and the cable manegement looks exceptional, The cooling is just outstanding look at how many fans it has just .

It looks cheap and I would be put off because its made by Rosewill, but thats just me.

Be interested to see if Abully trades his HAF-X in for one of these. :lol: (I don't think so.)

Pros
1. nice I/O panel with fan control knobs
2. bigger side fan
3. bottom fan provision

Cons
1. doesn't have a side window
2. Has only one USB3 in the front I/O panel
3. no castor wheels

The Haf X still looks the better option of the two... only if the price was around $100 it would be tempting...

Well i'm not a fan of side windows so that isn't a con for me.
Same goes for usb3 in front I/O, i don't care about it much.
But the castor wheels would've been a nice feature since this is a heavy case.

side door fan looks nice, seen some that are ducted facing the center of the mobo. I do not know anything about that or the benefits.

I love the blade design, I find that very sexy, but the front looks bad to me. I'm picky when it comes to the way the case looks by the front (since I mostly see that). To me a curved front would've looked better but that's just my opinion. Do love the 230mm's in the case, makes me wanna cut a giant hole in my case just to mount one haha

I found a 5 star review on newegg about this case. He kind of touched on one of my concerns about 5.25 items have to be adjusted to fit. I would like to know if anyone has any experience with this item fitting correctly in the front of the case?

I am in the process of selecting a case. Do you reckon HAFX (and this one) would be too big for i72600k, 1155 ATX, 1xGPU,2 HD, single dvdrw and a nice cooler -- would it just be too small a build to justify getting HAFX? I want to get a good and solid built case with maybe a possiblity to expand to perhaps dual sli at some future point in time.

In need of some confirmation that I'm not going overboard on this.

The case selection hinges a lot on the total components you are planning to use and planning to add in future... Haf X, 932, Thor, Antec 1200 are big full towers which can house more than one GPU, tall cpu coolers, modular psu etc... looking at your immediate requirement a mid tower would be more than enough... RV02 is a good option... so is Haf 922 (912 Plus if you get one)... you could even go budget on a decent case like 690II for less than $80...

RV02 is about the same size as the HAF-X.

I can't see the issue with buying a case that seems more than you need if you can afford it. It will only be better quality have more features and room to work and allow you to upgrade in the future.
