Hi,

I have a broadband internet connection to a NIC in my desktop which is
running XP. The same computer also have a wireless NIC.

I need to be able to route the internet connection from the adsl NIC to the
wireless NIC so I can access the internet wirelessly with my notebook across
my desktop's wireless NIC.

I can access my desktop's resources from the notebook but I cannot yet
access the internet.

How do I route the internet connection to the wireless card?

Thanks for hints on this

You would need a wireless router

Can't XP Pro route / bridge between network cards?

Enable Internet Connection Sharing. Windows XP Help and Support has
information about this.

But you will probably find things work much better if you invest a few
dollars into a wireless router for your home. And you will have the
added benefits of the NAT firewall protection in the router.

Good luck
