Question Router for Fibre optics connection

I am from Kolkata, India. Very soon I am going to get fibre optics connection in my home. Are there any router available for direct connection of fibre optics jack to the router instead of using a converter?
If available, please recommend.

the fiber connection uses a different kind of modem which will be provided by the ISP. it should output an ethernet connection that let's you connect any router you wish. so you don't need anything special for the connection other than a quality router that can handle whatever speed you have coming now.

what you are asking for is not possible since there has to be a modem in there somewhere to connect to the isp.

You will have to have a fiber modem to convert the fiber signal to eithernet. From the modem you can use any available router to connect your PC, either via WIFI or eithernet.

Even if technically you can use your own box, your local ISP may have policy different from ours. Surely there is an Indian chat room for this kind of thing?
