TP-Link 941ND
Router default ip is 192.168.0.1
Win 10

Trying to get device to convert wifi hotspot to ethernet.
Router is set to bridge mode, gave it SSID credentials, router connects to wifi ok.
How to get that wifi signal to appear at the LAN port?

Tried the following:
Disabled DHCP on router
On PC side set the TCP/IPv4 to
192.168.0.2 IP
255.255.255.0 subnet
192.168.0.1 gateway

Any suggestions?

How to inspect what goes on inside the router so I see where the wifi hotspot packets get stuck?

Solution
The hotspot must support WDS for this to work. WDS is not actually part of the official 802.11 standard so you still from time to time find incompatible devices.

Even on hotspots that support WDS many times you must configure them. WDS is considered a security exposure so many devices do not enable it by default. Some you must put in the mac address of the device that is connecting.

If you are using a phone or other mobile broadband hotspot device many of these do not have WDS support.
