Thanks for any help. I tried searching, but didn't come up with the exact situation I'm having.

Setup: TWC Maxx 300+ Mbps -> Netgear CM500 modem -> Linksys E1200 router (latest firmware) -> wired PC

Issue: router is limiting (wired) download speeds to 60-90 Mbps

When I connect PC directly to modem, I get 350+ Mbps speeds. When router is added, I get significantly less. The router is supposed to support up to 300 Mbps speeds, and Linksys customer support is anything but helpful. Basically, I'd like to improve the speed through this router, especially since it's wired to the PC.

I can provide more info if needed.

Solution
The modem supports 300mb/s over wifi, the WAN port, which is the internet port, is only 100MB

Ports:
1x 10/100 WAN, 4x 10/100 LAN

You need a router with a Gigabit, gb port for the WAN side
