[SOLVED] Router keeps disconnecting

I have a broadband internet connection but my router just keeps disconnecting randomly sometimes. It doesn't turn off, only the wifi light is gone. Then i switch it off and on and it works. I've tried resetting the router and changing the channel but i still have the issue.How can i fix it?

You may not be able to fix it. You could try pointing a fan at it to see if it is overheating. There is nothing repairable in a home router. They are replace only.

Sounds like a hardware problem but maybe you get lucky and there is a firmware update. Check the vendor site and see if they have anything available.
