Router LAN to LAN speed decrease

I have a LB-Link router with the IP of 192.168.16.1 and a ZTE router with the ip of 192.168.1.1
I'm trying to connect them together through LAN but so far I've got no success. Through WAN it works, but the speed gets more than halved, I'm trying to find a solution for not such a big loss.

The main router is ZTE because of the optical fiber and the one I want to extend with is the LB-Link.
For reference: Router1 = ZTE, Router2 = LB-Link
I tried setting up Router1 normally. (The one connected to the internet)
On Router2 I disabled the DHCP server.
I connected Router1 and Router2 LAN to LAN. And then I connected my PC to the LAN of Router2.
Point is, the speed is again more than halved. From the cable that connects Router1 to Router2 I get 270 Mbit/s, if the cable is connected to Router2 and from Router2 I have another cable to my PC, the speed is around 70 Mbit/s. Router2's box writes 250Mbit (Which I suppose it for WiFi, I might be wrong though).
Also, I tried changing the IP of Router2 to 192.168.1.16 as well if there is relevance in this information.
I am able to access both routers.
I tried connecting Router1 LAN to Router2 WAN as well but the speed is the same.

Is there a way to connect the routers and if I use a cable from Router2 to achieve the max speed or at least close to that?

It should not have any delay if you hook them lan-lan. Internal to the router the lan ports are connected to a small switch chip. This is the same as if you use a small external switch. The router part of the device is not used unless traffic goes to the wan port.

Not sure why you would have a issue. Try to hook 2 pc to lan ports on router 2 and see what rates you get between them. You can use a old line mode tool like iperf. You should get over 800mbit...assume the ports are gigabit. You can now hook router1-router2 lan to lan and put a pc on each router. You should still get over 800mbit.
