Router losing connection when physically moved`

When ever my router is moved just a little bit it loses data and it needs about a minute or two to recover. This has been happening ever since i got the router.

I am using the router that my ISP gave me

it sounds like its rebooting, maybe a short in the power block or the plug is loose on the router mainboard.
return the router to the cable company office and ask for a replacement.

Or buy your own like I did. The free ones you get from ISPs are, as you'd expect when they're free, cheaply-made and unreliable.
