Question Router Restarts Every 12 Hours ?

Hey, my internet keeps getting restarted every 12 hours. I saw a few posts about checking the logs and seeing if it's a technical problem or the ISP is restarting it, however when I go to the default gateway ip address, I'm met with Firewall logs and Userlog logs. In Userlog I can't find anything related to the ISP restarting the router. So, my question is: am I looking at the correct logs, and if not where do I go from here?
Btw, I own a Huawei HG8245H router.

Look at the date and time stamp entries in the log.

1970, 2015.....?

Reset the router's date and time.

If the date and time are being obtained/updated/synced online then verify that the source date and time are correct.

I think you are misinterpreting the screen shot from portforward.com example and the OP's logs. He didn't post HIS logs, just a generic equivalent.

Yes, the link I posted is just an example of how the logs of that router brand look like, and I'm asking if those are the correct ones so I can send my router's logs.

Do post the router logs - hopefully the logs will provide some clue regarding the 12 hour restart.

I do not see any entries in the logs that I can make out to be a 12 hour pattern.

On February 9th there are a series of logins and logouts - sometimes just a few minutes apart. Was that you doing some testing?

And your home physical setup/configuration is similar to Figure 2-14 on physically numbered Page 2-14.

What other devices, if any, are connected? Telephones, printer, NAS?

The router appears to be at its default setting of 192.168.100.1

I noted two devices connecting that were being provided DHCP IP addresses of 192.168.100.103 and 192.168.100.105.

".103" (Minecraft Servers) being far more frequent. Seeing no other DHCP addresses being assigned makes me believe there are no other devices.

Exception being the 192.168.100.93 assignment.... which could have been the same device - being DHCP.

Overall, if you are hosting a Minecraft server you need to assign it a Static IP that is outside of the DHCP IP address range reserved for the router's DHCP assignments.

And that Static IP address should be reserved on the router via the host MAC.

Certainly does not explain the 12 hour resets per se but I am wondering about an overall misconfiguration issue.

Yes, I do host a Minecraft server so my friends and I can play, but it's rarely used.
Most of the logs of me restarting the router is because the internet would fall and go offline for more than 3 minutes, whereas usually it boots back up after 30 seconds if it's the classic 12 hour restart, so I usually go for a manual restart, where I unplug the cable, wait 10 seconds then plug it back in.
I have a telephone connected as well and nothing else.
Also, I think that's the correct manual, I actually have no idea where the box that the router came with is, so I couldn't 100% assure you, and yes my physical/setup configuration looks like that.

Aaand I'll look into the port forwarding misconfiguration on my part.

Have you tried "ipconfig /flushdns"?

Also look in Reliability History and Event Viewer for error codes, warnings, and even informational events that correspond with the 12 restarts.

Reliability History is much more user friendly and uses a timeline format that make may the 12 hours restarts strand out. Click on errors, etc. for more details.

I found two strange things and the first is that whenever my internet dropped, blitz.exe(league of legends application), and the second one was some program called "network cap", but it didn't trigger whenever my internet would fall, which is usually around 1:20 pm and am.
Oh and some realtek driver keeps trying to update everyday, but it fails everytime it tries to.
I think I have done ipconfig /flushdns a few months ago, but for another reason. Should I do it again?
