Router setup without modem

I bought TP-LINK AC1750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router Archer C7 and I'm wondering if I can use the phone line directly connect to the router internet port to get the internet without using a modem. Is there any phone line to ethernet cable converter that can be use in this situation?

No.
That "converter" you seek IS the modem.

Takes the incoming signal on the phone line and converts it into something a router or PC can use.

No. You'll need some sort of modem between your network and the ISP.

In short, every Internet connection needs some sort of modem. Routers are optional.

Short answer: can't.

But if an extra box bothers you, there are single box GATEWAYS combo that has the modem built into the router, often limited in performance though and not as good as separates, your call.
