I have the actiontec v1000h router. On the xDSL status page, then DSL link status, what do Unavailable Seconds mean and within what time frame are the data updated? I am assuming it means there was a drop in connection, but I would like to know how often it's happening. I get 26 Unavailable Seconds.

Thank you

It does generally mean the connection went down and if it is like most other connections it means it lost the clocking signal from the far end.

I don't know for sure how this device works most the others that have this type of indicator it is a total counter since it was last cleared. So if you got 26 seconds in the last 10 minutes it is a lot but if it is 26 seconds in the last week it is nothing.

Pretty much if it does not change you have no issues. You will always see some random things like this. It can be caused by something as simple as a phone tech touching the wires when they were hooking up another customer. If it keeps happening then call the telco they can likely find the source by testing the line.
