Routing Table VPN

Solution
Routing does not work that way, you can't configure a route beginning to end. All a static route does is tell your system where to send the info. The router you send to then checks its routing table to determine the next hop, each router does that down the line until you reach your destination.
Not sure what you asking for by default most vpn force all traffic to go via the VPN path. Generally the only time you would want to add routes is if you wanted some traffic to bypass the vpn tunnel.

Although some vpn clients have abilities to do this it tends to just be simpler to use the ROUTE command in windows. The ROUTE PRINT command should show you the routes currently in use by the VPN.
