Hi everyone,

Newbie here. I've just bought a new ASUS X541UJ laptop and am happy with it so far. The only thing I notice is that the fan seems loud, even when just browsing the web. It may be completely normal, but I've never noticed a fan so much before. I've attached a screenshot below. Is anybody able to tell me if this all looks good/normal for fan speed and CPU temp? The specs of the laptop are in the screenshot, but I've also outlined the details below:

Intel i7-7500 CPU @ 2.70GHz
Memory: 8192 MB
NVIDIA GeForce 920M
1 TB HDD

CPU Fan: 2382 RPM
CPU Temp: 48 degrees (C) / 118.4 degrees (F)

I would imagine it's perfectly normal, laptop fans are blower style, and are rather small, so they need to run fast to keep the system cool. And depending on the browser you use, that can take up a decent bit of processor speed as well.
