My brain didn't even register the gigabytes. I assumed it was terabytes.

Doesn't really have that much use outside of a recycling center.

As to who, I don't really know your friends and family, so I would have no idea who would have any use for a 25-year-old hard drive.

I figured(not frustrated w/ you). In the case of family n' friends, desktop technology is foreign to them, regardless of the age of the drive. They are all laptop devotees'.
