Hi,
I recently upgraded my router purchased 6 years ago to an ASUS RT-AC3200, it works brilliantly except the frequency disconnects (1 every 4~5 hours). All will be running smoothly and suddenly all wireless and wired connections will drop out. The light for the WAN connection also turns red.
Turning the router off and on again fixes the issue but after paying an arm and a leg I shouldn't need to keep doing this.
The issue has been happening for the past 3 weeks and I've been looking for possible fixes but Google hasn't bought anything to light.
I have adaptive QoS turned on and would rather keep it switched on because of the number of devices connected at any one time.
Any ideas? Let me know if you need any further information.
