RTL8169/8110 ethernet will not obtain IP address on other LAN

Hello,

My Fujitsu Siemens AMILO XI-1554 RTL8169/8110 ethernet will not obtain IP address on any other LAN, except my home network. The adapter is set to obtain IP address automatically. I have updated the drivers using the Update Driver option on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit.

Are you talking about wired or wireless or both? Have you tested both? If not, do so. Also you want to get any updated drivers from the Fujitsu support site not from Windows, they will be more likely to work properly.

What exactly happens when you try to connect to another network?
