There was an interesting discussion in the previous thread, which I
think was obscured by the reference to how many turns people played and
what their relative intelligence is.
To recap, the AI seems to lose it's overall plan every time it is
reloaded. In my opinion this is a deal-breaker because I *know* every
time I sit down and load a saved game (regardless of how many turns I
played before saving) that the AI will be stupid and drop whatever it
was doing. I cannot not *know* this anymore, so I will take it into
account in my strategy.
Further, knowing the AI is stupid on a reload I might choose not play an
extra turn before going to bed (the true sign of addiction) because the
AI is about to do something I don't want it to and I will have a
reasonable chance of it changing its mind on the reload. This is not a
save-game cheat, it is unavoidable appraisal.
