RTW Fixed?

I read an article on a website about RTW having a major issue that was being
ignored by devolpers of the game. has that been fixed? and where to update?

You might be referring to the load/save bug? If so; no, it hasn't been
addressed. In fact, I have this suspicion that CA is only going to fix
that bug (and numerous others) in the Barbarian Invasion expansion --
which is pretty lame. So, instead of patching it like most other
developers, they're going to charge you $35 for the patc... er,
expansion.

Disregarding bugs for a moment, I have this feeling we're going to see
more and more of this behaviour from developers. It used to be that an
expansion was just that: an expansion to the original, already
complete, game. Why do I feel like, in the near future, when you
purchase a game it'll only be 2/3rds (whatever) of the "complete" game,
and if you want the rest you have to buy the "expansion".

I am not a big console fan though I have a PS2 for when people come over and
just want to "chill" and play light action games. I can see where
they[conseles] will get more and more popular. PC IMO has many positives
over consoles as far as what a game can be.If support goes the way of money
making they are just going to doom themsleves. Lucasarts seems to be another
doing the same. In the situtaion of there Battlefront game seems
deliberateleft things out of the game in order to bait you into the sequel.
Not to mention the plague of bugs surrounding that particular game.

As far as RTW it made the top of my X-mas list. Now I wish somebody would
have just given me the 50 bucks instead. What a shame./
