I recently bought a RTX 2060, and using it atm my question is 2060 wont run at %100( %60-85 usually) on 1080p res therefore i cant seem to get max fps out of it ? How do i get it to work %100 all the times or i will only get max performance on 1440p ? Does it have anything to do with hdmi cable quality ? Maybe its cheap and cant handle the gpu side data transfer ? I need help :(

What games are you playing? It's normal not to max out the GPU on older games for example and will run with a light GPU load. Also, on 1080P modern games will be more CPU dependent for performance than going to 1440 or 4k which heavily falls on GPU capabilities. For EVGA cards, the "K Boost" in EVGA Precision software would force the GPU to run at max speed all the time, but not sure if it's still available in modern versions.

Ac odyssey runs at %60 70 , Resident evil 2 remaster seems to use %90 95 , the surge basicly stucks at constant 50 fps and i see %30 40 usage Far cry 5 %75 80 these are 1080p ultra setting btw, do i get fps increase if i use display port instead of hdmi ?

Can you provide full system specs? Displayport itself won't boost performance. It sounds like more likely you are CPU limited at 1080P. I have an RTX 2060 as well in my Ryzen 2700X build. So far, only played BFV at 1080P on TV with 60Hz panel, but 2060 stays near max usage with ultra settings, DLSS, and DXR enabled. Also using HDMI in this setup.

I asked for your CPU, please mention the CPU name you are using. It seems to be its pure case of bottleneck.

Im using an i5 6600 cpu i know its old i wanna upgrade it too i have a msi z170a gaming m3 motherboard what is the best cpu that i am allowed to use for this motherboard and also goes well with rtx 2060 ? But when im gaming imy cpu usage usually not %100 i dont really think bottlenecking is an issue here but what do you think

Well, to be honest, 4core/4thread CPUs like the 6600 are starting to show their age in modern games. A 4core/8thread such as i7 6700k or i7 7700k are showing benefits from newer AAA titles that can utilize HT technology. If you could OC, you could mitigate some of the performance loss, but your CPU doesn't support it being a non K model. Some games are starting to show benefits of 6 cores from reviews I've seen, but this is only a handful at the moment.

If it's about 90-95%, You can treat it as a 100%.
Most probable is that Your 4c/4t CPU bottlenecks the GPU at this resolution. (it can't deliver more calculations / framerates per second, so GPU has nothing to draw and it's only partialy loaded)

Options You have:
  • deal with it
  • play at higher resolution like 2K with similar performance
  • change mobo+ram+cpu
  • switch to i7 7700K and sell Your i5
