[SOLVED] rtx 2060 aftermarket cooling

hello i bought an asus 2060 turbo..
what aftermarket cooling exists except accelero xtreme iv

edit: i want open-air cooling

There's a couple of options, some hybrid coolers that run @ $160-180, a couple of air coolers that run @ $60-$100.

End result of changing that up would be you could have opted for a 2070 and not pushed it as hard and still gotten the same temps as the aftermarket cooler.

Unless there's an absolute need for aftermarket cooling, the 2060 generally should run pretty cool and quiet, the only way to get it any quieter or cooler is having it part of a custom loop.

the turbo is not quiet, and i maybe even lose really much performance on this card vs a card with standard cooling. you do get a slight performance with after market cooling, and great temps.. but i have blower style so i will get great performance improvements.. and i got this card new, very very cheap, i wouldnt even be able to get a new rtx 2060 at stock price...
i have only seen one cooler and that is accelero xtreme iv... i want more options because that one is not looking good.. i dont want white in black pc

There's no loss of performance. You don't get additional performance because you add aftermarket cooling. The blower style IS the standard cooling, axial fans are from outside vendors. The asus turbo will run its clocks the same as an axial fan style. It won't run any hotter than any other 2060, adding an aftermarket cooler doesn't mean you'll suddenly get great cooling benefits.

thank you, but you do lose performance it cant handle to cool it down, its not like you get 20 fps more in games, but it is a slight performance boost i get, and much more quiet. you can look it up. the blower style gpu cant handle the heat good at all.. you do lose performance. but thank you for the links

It's different. Blower style are reference design, basically the exact same board nvidia uses for its coolers. Most of the budget boards are, even some of the mid grade gpus. It's only on the higher end you'll run into custom pcbs. You could basically remove the shroud from an nvidia model and the asus turbo and they'll look the same.

Being reference designs, they have reference clocks, reference ram, reference cooling, there's very little, if any difference. With axial designs, vendors can increase cooling ability, but will also increase clocks, so you get the OC models like the Evga SC. The upgrade from that is high end, like the FTW or MSI Gaming X, which have even larger heatsinks and the highest OC clocks. But even so, they'll all see approximately the same temps as the clock speeds and consequent voltage used increase wattage, which increases temps. End result is a few more fps.

You changing your cooling won't affect the fps ability or outputs unless you OC. You'll get the same thing, just a few °C cooler. If you OC to get better performance, your temps will just go back up.
