Hi,

Just bought a Zotac RTX 2060, having an issue with its fans.

As soon as windows loads up the fans come on 100% and will not change, you don't hear fans at all in the BIOS.

I have tried reinstalling the drivers, again you don't hear the fans when the drivers are not installed.

I have tried afterburner and Zotac's firestorm to try and adjust the fans, you can slide the fan speed and change the fan curves but makes no difference to the noise.

No options in the bios regarding GPU fans (motherboard is a Gigabyte H110n)

Stress testing the card also makes no difference to fan noise so i think it is indeed stuck at 100% speed.

Temps on idle are around 27 degrees.

Any other suggestions on this please as the noise is getting unbearable.

Thanks

Are you on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard? You might want to see the sort of temps the GPU is on and the sort of usage it undergoes when you load into GUI(for OS).

Hi and apologies

CPU: Core I5 6400
Motherboard: Gigabyte H1110n
Ram: 8GB DDR4
SSD/HDD: NVME DREVO D1 M.2 2280 240GB for OS and 1TB HDD
GPU: RTX 2060
PSU: Kolink KL-SFX450 450W 80SFX
Chassis: Silverstone RVZ01 Raven
OS: Windows 10 PRo.

It is the latest BIOS,(support for 7th gen intel)

Still though it should be sticking at 100% all the time, removing it drivers stops it.

Stressing the gpu on games and 3DMark makes no difference.

Thanks
