Question RTX 2060 getting too hot?

In some more demanding games, my EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 KO ULTRA GAMING slowly but surely climbs up to 84-85 degrees Celsius, and I am worried that if I played, for longer it cold continue to climb still. My fans are at high speeds, making my PC fairly loud already in demanding games. Do I have a problem with my build? Or is there some software stuff I could tweak to fix this?

Did you overclock your system?

update the BIOS to the latest version within BIOS using the q-flash menu

use ddu uninstaller and reinstall the latest graphics driver from nvidia.com

how do you read the temperature? update this tool or use msi afterburner

run userbenchmark.com and post the http link of your result, e.g. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/28977730

check the airflow inside your case, where are case fans installed, where is the radiator of the CPU cooler placed, in which directions are the fans blowing..

what´s your ambient room temperature?

My GPU isn't overclocked but my CPU is, from 4.0 to 4.3 Ghz, but temps don't go higher than 75 degrees Celsius in most situations.

I updated the BIOS recently around a month ago.

I read the temps using MSI Afterburner.

There's one fan in the lower front section of the case, an 80 mm fan beneath the graphics card, and a high speed one on the 120 mm radiator in the top rear corner. Room temps are around 72 degrees Fahrenheit.

I suppose I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling drivers. but fan placement should be fine, with one taking air in from the front and two blowing out back. Thanks for the feedback though. Any other suggestions based on this new info?

Did you OC the BCLK as well?

How hot is it getting while the side of the case is opened?

Load default settings in BIOS and try again

No, I don't think I OC'd the BCLK. Don't even really know what that is.

With the case open, I saw a 6 degree temp difference (Max 77 degrees).

When I loaded BIOS defaults, the temp still climbed to 83 degrees Celsius, just a tiny bit slower than before.

Do you think that if I got a stronger intake fan, I could reach lower temps?
