Question RTX 2060 not showing up on Win 7

Hi,

My spec is..

OS - Win 7 64 Bit
RAM - 16GB
GPU - RTX 2060 12GB Zotac
MOBO - P8Z68-V/GEN 3
CPU - i5 2500K (Sandybridge)

My GTX 570 was working well and showing up on device manager but my new RTX 2060 not showing up. Just says standard VGA Graphics Adaptor.

Any help.

I've tried deleting uninstalling old gtx 570 drivers even in safe mode, then installing new drivers, ive updated BIOS and still not showing up.

I know my Mobo / chipset is ancient and some features of 2060 wont work but the card itself should be working.

Im up to date with all offical drivers and still not helping.

try updating driver through device manager, open there that basic video adapter and manualy change driver to nvidia

ye still not working. any other ideas. Im sure 2060 should work for win7 z68 chipsets

Check to see if gpu is showed up as working correctly yeah even though that chipset is old and things like Ray tracing and dx12 won't work on win 7 you should still be able to use the card

Yeah i tried all the above and gave up. I just reinstalled my old gtx 570 and working fine. i'll just keep the 2060 on standby untill I make my 2nd build.
