Hi! I am planning to build my first gaming PC but I am confused between the GTX 1070 Ti and the RTX 2060. My budget is 1000$ to 1100$. I am going to go with the Ryzen 7 2700.

The GTX 1070 Ti is more expensive than the RTX 2060 but it is more powerful. The RTX 2060 has Ray Tracing but very very little games support it and it would take a very long time for bigger number games to support it. To me, I don't care about ray tracing, what I care about is performance.
The GTX 1070 Ti is supported in all games and it is till this day very powerful and considered as a High-end card. While Nvidia considers the RTX 2060 a mid range card.

I am not sure but since the RTX 2060 is very new some games may not support it?

So what do you guys say? GTX 1070 Ti or RTX 2060?

It all comes down to price.

If you can get 1070Ti <$ 380 go for it.
or else go for RTX 2060.

The performance difference is negligible between those two and remember 1070Ti has +2 gigs of slower ram(future proof for greater res monitors), more CUDA cores, overclocks better and the final cherry on top slightly less heat and power consumption compared to 2060.

The drawback of 1070 Ti currently is the availability and pricing.
