Hello folks.
So I have following current system
CPU: i7 2600k
RAM: 2x2GB + 2x4GB
HDD: 2x 1TB WD
GPU: HD 5870 (planning to change it, recently has coil whine when idle, so scary)
MB: GA-PH67A-UD3-B3
PSU: Gold 500W High-Power(taiwan) (recently upgraded from a 380W(same brand) due to too much coil whine)
I just bought an GB RX 580, but I could not post boot, and finally realized GPU is defective. Seller agreed to give me an 1660 ti instead. GB agreed the card is defective, replaced it.
Now I'm wonder if I go for better option as RTX 2060?
I'm a programmer, but sometimes I like to hit some gaming, why not! Mostly in 1080p, my monitors are 60Hz. I don't want god like FPS, but like smooth play. Maximum 4 hours a day 1-2 days in a week. but surely 1-2 hours a day. No OC at all.
As RTX 2060 comes with new stuffs, maybe it worth the money?! IDK
So I have one option as MSI 1660 ti Gaming model I could afford so soon, or just wait a little more and get an RTX 2060, what's your recommendation?
Much appreciated
