[SOLVED] RTX 2060 + Ryzen 3 2200G

Hey everyone, I’ve been looking to buy a GPU for my build, here are my current specs:

Ryzen 3 2200G
MSI A320M Pro-VD/S
G.Skill Ripjaws V 4x2 GB 2400 MHz
Corsair VS450

Will a RTX 2060 work well with this particular build? I’m mostly worried about it’s power consumption exceeding my PSU’s capacity and the bottleneck with my processor. Or do you think it would be a good idea to wait for the 1160Ti? Any suggestions are appreciated.

I would want a better quality PSU and a faster CPU. The 2200G will bottleneck the 2060.

What about a 1060 6gb? Should be ok with your existing PSU and CPU while still giving a big boost in performance.

It will work okay. Your PSU isn't the best, so might be an idea to upgrade that, specially if OC'ing anything. Otherwise it would get by short term.

Your CPU is 4c/4t so it will bottleneck in some more CPU demanding games. But for the most part it will go fairly well in the build.

Additionally to what has already been said you'll want faster memory as Ryzen performs noticeably better with it.

Depending on the budget I would probably go 1400/B350 or B450 MB/2x4gb@3000mhz/RX 570/580 (much cheaper then 1060 6gb/2060) & a CX/CXM 550W PSU.
