Got a used 2060 super mini single fan.. . A bit warm since its small single fan.I was cleaning the chip and redoing the thermal so I can do aio cooling. I was also struggling to put the aio on the die using kraken. G12. It was a difficult process so I reapplied thermal paste and cleaned it many times

After a while I noticed the corners on the die were sectioned off. Not sure it was the thermal paste. I also accidentally spelled a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol outside of the die frame expanding to the green board.

After performing the aio cooling I put the card in and it was green flicky Pixelated. The resolution couldn't go higher than 1080p. I kept unplugging and replugging. Even after I removed the aio and put the stock fan back. At times it would not show any display

I decided to redo the paste and used the one I usually use instead of the aio paste then put the stock fan back. At first the display didn't turn on but I used an hdmi instead and it came on with no pixel anymore. Then I put the display back and now it works OK. Now its running ok.

Should I be worried about the gpu? Is the chip die damaged? Could it be a display issue? Is it my mobo or cord? Or the excessive rubbing alcohol?

Yea. I know its not compatible but I modded it to fit. Its not the g12 its the just that I did so much work with cleaning thermal and reapplying and the aio kept moving. In the end it fits and I got it to work but I started having weird issues i listed above

You modded an imcompatible water block and you chipped off the corners of the die.

If there is physical damage and that damage is what is causing the issues you're having there is nothing you can do now.

Ok first off the kraken isn't a water block. Its a frame case with mounts. I clipped off the mounts to fit the screw holes so it can hold the aio. Not sure if you know what I'm asking to begin with
