So, I've been looking at the 2060s(which is $380-400 in my area ) and the 2070(which is around $430-450) and I'm simply wondering if the rtx 2070 is worth the 50 extra dollars. I want to be able to use play at high or ultra while using ray tracing at 1440p/60fps with dlss.

The build so far:
r5 3500x
b550m Bazooka
2*8gb 3000mhz ram (Haven't decided the exact brand)
1 m.2 drive intel 660p
3 sata drives
Thermaltake core v21
600w psu (Haven't decided the exact brand)

Solution
I have an MSI RTX 2060 Super Armor OC (paired with a 3700x) and it performs better than the RTX 2070's I have compared benchmarks with.
But I have a 1080p monitor so I have no way to test 1440p game play.

So personally, I would Not pay extra for a 2070 that probably won't perform any better (and possibly worse) than a 2060 Super.

The RTX 2070 is negligibly faster than the RTX 2060 Super, so I'm not sure that its worth it.

The RTX 2060 Super is a great 1080p card, but only an average 1440p card, so you'll have a hard time running at 1440p 60 ultra, even without ray tracing.

That's a fair point. However, where I am, newers card usually gets priced a bit over US msrp so while I may not get the 3060ti, I might go for the 2070 super provided the vendors where I live lower the price. Thanks for all the input!
